"Healing is not linear — and neither is the path back to yourself."
About Bithia
Bithia Chavez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to helping people heal from trauma and navigate life's most challenging seasons. Whether you're carrying the weight of painful experiences, moving through grief, facing the end of a marriage, or simply feeling like the ground has shifted beneath you — this is a space built for you.
Her approach is trauma-informed at its core. Bithia understands that trauma doesn't just live in our memories — it lives in our bodies, our relationships, and the stories we tell ourselves. She creates a space where those stories can finally be examined, rewritten, and released.
Life transitions — divorce, identity shifts, loss, new parenthood, career changes — can leave even the most resilient person feeling unmoored. Bithia works with both men and women who are ready to stop just getting through it and start genuinely healing.
Areas of Focus
Bithia offers thoughtful, evidence-informed therapy across three core areas — each one a landscape she knows intimately, and navigates with care.
Trauma has a way of reshaping everything — how you see the world, how you relate to others, and how you feel in your own skin. Bithia specializes in helping women gently untangle the impact of traumatic experiences and reclaim a sense of safety, wholeness, and self-trust.
Grief doesn't follow a schedule. Whether you're mourning a person, a relationship, a dream, or a version of yourself — Bithia provides a compassionate space to honor your loss and slowly find footing again. No timelines. No judgment.
The journey into motherhood is one of the most profound — and at times overwhelming — experiences a woman can face. Bithia specializes in supporting mothers through the full arc: from the anxiety of pregnancy to the complex emotions of postpartum life.
From the pressure to hold everything together to the quiet erosion of self — Bithia helps women reclaim their voice, set meaningful boundaries, and build lives that reflect who they truly are, not who they were expected to be.
The Approach
Bithia's practice is rooted in the belief that good therapy is both art and science. She draws from a blend of evidence-based modalities, woven together with genuine warmth and cultural sensitivity, to meet each client in the fullness of their experience.
Identifying and shifting thought patterns that keep you stuck.
A framework of safety and empowerment that honors your nervous system.
Building on what already lives inside you — your resilience, your wisdom.
Grounding techniques that bring you back to the present moment.
A powerful, evidence-based technique that helps the brain process and release traumatic memories so they no longer hold the same emotional charge.
Therapy that sees, respects, and integrates your full cultural identity.
"My role isn't to fix you. It's to walk alongside you as you discover your own capacity for healing."
